Custodian Relationships

When selecting custodians to maintain our client accounts, we select firms that provide an important combination of accurate trade executions, access to a wide variety of securities, low transaction costs and the ability to download every transaction directly into our computer system. Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade, for example, are able to provide these services in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

With more than 1500 Appropriate Balance accounts at these two firms, we have negotiated attractive commission rates on behalf of our clients. This contributes to our efforts to keep the costs of investing low.
